We are delighted to share the findings of the Ofsted inspection that took place on 25th and 26th April 2017.

Ofsted have graded Lady Bankes Junior School as GOOD.  You can read the full report in the school performance section of the website.

This is a tremendous achievement for the school.  It is the result of the children’s hard work, family support and, of course, a dedicated staff and governing body who have been working relentlessly to ensure that the pupils at Lady Bankes Junior School have the best possible education and opportunities.

The school was graded good in all areas of the inspection; the school has been given two areas to improve to move the school to being outstanding.

As a school and governing body we will be inviting all the children, parents and community to celebrate our achievement and will be sending out details of how we will be doing this after half term.

We hope that you have a restful half term and enjoy reading the report which states that: leadership and management, teaching, learning and assessment, outcomes for pupils, behaviour, safety and welfare and the overall effectiveness of Lady Bankes Junior School is good.
